This is a topic that is very meaningful to me as a former educator and practicing instructional designer.
Despite the mountains of empirical research invalidating many learning myths, they still stubbornly persist throughout many educational realms, whether that be primary and secondary education, higher learning, corporate learning and development, and more.
Here is a simple, easily-digestible, and interactive infographic that provides additional information on research and its respective sources through the infographic's interactivity features.
